Situated at the Duqm Special Free Zone, Sultanate of Oman, the Majan Energy Complex is only private energy complex in Sultanate of Oman, the Majan Energy Complex (MEC) project will be a refiner of oil products and one of the most modern refineries & petrochemical complexes in the world. We focus on technologies that improve our ability to find, develop and produce crude oil and natural gas from conventional and unconventional resources. We also invest in the development of emerging energy technologies, such as finding better ways to make nonfood-based biofuels, piloting advanced solar technology for our operations and expanding our renewable energy resources.

• An integrated flare gas recovery facility ensures recovery of flared gases to minimize hydrocarbon losses.
• Liquid effluents generated from the refinery are treated for maximum reuse with no discharge to the gulf, utilizing Zero Liquid Discharge technology.
